Event: California Delta Veteran Fishing Event at Brannan Island

When: May 4th ,2024

Time: TBD

Rec4Vets will be returning to Brannan Island on May4, 2024 for our annual Striped Bass fishing event for Veterans.  I have already been in contact with the Veterans Home in Yountville and we are expecting a large turnout from them.  We will be needing as many volunteers (captains, BBQ support, setup support, etc) as possible.  More details will be available as we move closer to the event.
To register as a Veteran participant please email using the subject line “Brannan Island Veteran” and let us know to put you on the list.  Include your name, email address and phone number. Due to demand we will be signing up participants in groups, based on when you sign up. The first 50 signups received will be provided a seat. The rest will be put on a list and as more seats become available they will be added accordingly. For the time being, we will allow signups to include a “+1” only if they are a “caretaker”. Depending on the number of seats available we are hoping to change that. Family members are welcome to join us at the BBQ. This allows us to provide the maximum number of seats to Veterans.
If you have a caretaker, please let us know so we can arrange a seat. If you are brining family to the BBQ, please let us know that as well so we can insure enough food. Signup deadline will be April 26th.
To register as a volunteer please email darren@rec4vets.oreg using the subject “Brannan Island volunteer”.  Please include name, email address, phone number and what you’d like to sign up for.  If you are a captain with a boat please include how many veterans you can host on your boat.
